Pertamina sebagai salah satu BUMN terbesar di Indonesia telah menjadi sorotan publik sejak lama. Pertamina as one of the largest SOEs in Indonesia has become the public spotlight for a long time.

Kinerja Pertamina dipertanyakan menyusul disebutkan kerugian dari perusahaan minyak tersebut. Pertamina’s performance following question mentioned disadvantages of the oil companies.

Dahulu waktu saya kecil banyak orang bercita-cita menjadi pegawai Pertamina, pekerjaan mudah gaji besar. Long ago when I was little many people aspire to be employees of Pertamina, big salary job easier.

Kemudian ketika memasuki dunia kerja saya sempat terjun dalam dunia perminyakan. Then when I entered the workforce in the world could plunge the oil.

Atas takdir Allah saya bekerja di perusahaan Oil Service Asing, Schlumberger sampai dengan September 2009 ini (kemudian saya keluar dengan alasan melanjutkan jenjang ekstensi S1). God’s destiny over my work in the Foreign Service Oil companies, Schlumberger until September 2009 this (then I went out with a reason to continue the extension ladder S1).

Ada banyak pelajaran yang saya ambil khususnya ketika bekerja dengan sesama perusahaan Nasional Indonesia. There are many lessons that I took, especially when working with other Indonesian National companies.

Pernah suatu waktu teman saya bercerita bahwa ketika dia KP (kerja praktek) di salah satu unit usaha Pertamina di Indramayu dia berseloroh “Wah enak kerja di Pertamina, gaji jutaan kerjaan main game di komputer”. Once upon a time my friend told me that when she KP (practical work) in one business unit of Pertamina in Indramayu he joked “Well good job in Pertamina, pay millions of job playing computer games”.

Kemudian banyak omongan senada yang datang dari beberapa rekan saya menilai Pertamina. Then a lot of talk that comes from matching some of my colleagues assess Pertamina.

Beberapa cerita teman-teman tersebut kebanyakan memang berasal dari unit usaha milik Pertamina pada bagian produksi/distribusi. Some of the stories my friends are mainly derived from Pertamina’s business units in the production / distribution.

Nah kalau saya punya cerita di bagian eksplorasi. Well if I had a story in the exploration.

Waktu itu sekitar November 2007 ketika itu saya bertepatan mendapat tugas lapangan di daerah Cepu. It was around November 2007 when I was given the job coincided in the Cepu field.

Yang menjadi klien adalah Mobil Cepu dan Pertamina. The client is a Mobil Cepu and Pertamina.

Awal mula saya mendatangi Mobil Cepu, melihat rig (baca: sumur minyak) yang diklaim terbesar di Indonesia. I went to the beginning of Mobil Cepu, see the rig (read: oil wells) which claimed the largest in Indonesia.

Kesan saya disana bahwa perusahaan ini benar-benar teratur dengan tingkat disiplin yang tinggi dimana seolah-olah setiap detik memang bernilai. My impression is there that the company actually regularly with a high level of discipline where as if every second was valuable.

Kemudian selanjutnya adalah mengunjungi Pertamina, seperti terbalik 180 derajat keadaanya memang lain. Then next is to visit Pertamina, such as the inverted condition was 180 degrees the other’s.

  • Komplek rig yang digunakan tidak dipagar dengan rapat sehingga keamanan tidak terjamin. Complex rig that is used not dipagar the meeting so that security is not guaranteed.
  • Penataan peralatan yang tidak rapi sehingga pekerjaan tidak efesien. Structuring devices that do not neatly so that the work is not efficient.
  • Perhatian terhadap keselamatan kerja yang kurang. Attention to the lack of work safety. Standard keselamatan kerja seolah hanya hitam di atas putih. Workplace safety standards as only black and white.
  • Penghargaan terhadap waktu yang kurang, pekerjaan berjalan lambat asal selamat. Appreciation of the lack of time, work was slow home safely.
  • Toleransi yang berlebihan sehingga menciptakan kinerja yang tidak maksimal. Excessive tolerance that creates performance was not optimal.

Saya sempat merenung dan berpikir ‘Salah siapa ini?’. I had time to reflect and think ‘Whose fault is this?’.

Dan jika saya mencoba mencari jawaban itu ‘Bukan pada Pertamina, tapi pada kita, masyarakat Indonesia’. And if I try to find the answer is ‘Not at Pertamina, but to us, people of Indonesia’.

Ketika banyak ormas/partai berkoar-koar ‘Jangan jual sumur minyak kita kepada negara asing’. While many organizations / parties bragging ‘Do not sell our oil wells to foreign countries’.

Maka akan saya jawab ’siapa yang menjamin produksi bisa maksimal (tidak dikorup oleh warga Indonesia)’ So would I say ‘who is able to ensure maximum production (not corrupted by the people of Indonesia)’

Maksud dikorup disini bukan berarti hanya oleh oknum yang biasa dikambing-hitamkan adalah pejabat tapi juga oleh yang berada pada bagian paling bawah sekalipun. The purpose here is not corrupted by unscrupulous means only regular-fill is dikambing officials but also by who is at the bottom though.

  • Dan masih banyak lagi yang lain And still many others

Waktu terus berjalan dan alhamdulillah saya melihat ada upaya perbaikan. Time passed, and thank God I saw no improvement efforts.
